Sunderland University is a leading centre for the teaching of stained glass and hot glass.
The Williams & Byrne stained glass studio runs glass painting courses that create confidence and skill. There are always two of us to teach and demonstrate, and we take a maximum of six people per course.
The Kenningtons conducts a combined lead work and copper foil course at the Eggbuckland Community centre. They also offer one-to-one tuition in your own studio. They'll even bring the tools and glass!

Fully equipped with a comprehensive range of equipment for teaching traditional techniques for designing and making stained glass.
They teach individuals and very small groups.
By popular request, I now also offer beginner and intermediate training courses. We work on decorative stained and fused glass in panels, mirrors, room-dividers, fire screens, wall and table lamps - and many other forms.
All of my design work is from my own original drawings and sketches. I am also continuously developing my approaches and technique to incorporate new forms of expression.
